Portrait- A Setting: Janurary 2011

For this project I was to create a plate, drinking vessel and implement in response to an aspect of my partner for the project, Caroline's personality. After researching her interests and talking to her i came up with the idea of a 'bubbly personality', and started sketching and experimenting with clay....

Pictured are some of the first drinking vessels exploring this idea...

There were some nice qualities to these pieces however i felt they gave the impression of pebbles more than bubbles... (?)
